Aesthetic & Facial Treatments
All skin is not created equal. At The Center for Aesthetic Medicine, our highly-trained staff of clinicians will thoroughly analyze your skin and concerns and design the ideal facial regimen for you. All skin treatments here at CFAM are individualized for your specific skin type.
For optimal results for any skin type, a facial treatment is best every four weeks, to work with the skin’s natural cell turnover cycle.
Our clinical aestheticians will work with you, and perhaps Dr. Krever, to come up with a facial plan that is just right for you. CFAM only uses Skin Focus (our own brand), Glytone & Avene products for use in our backbar. Whether your skin is dry, dehydrated, oily, acneic, sensitive, aging, or just needs exfoliation, we decide during each session what the optimal regimen is for you.
At CFAM, we use a system called “MicroDermaSweep” which is different than most traditional microdermabrasion systems. There are no messy crystals here. This is a medical-grade system that uses a sweep-and-suction technique to exfoliate dead skin cells. Microdermabrasion is ideal for drier skin, flakiness, and can even help lighten hyperpigmentation. It is not ideal for active acne. Microdermasweep is perfect for refreshing the skin and ridding a “crepey” appearance.
If chemical peels are the right treatment for your skin, we have an array of different types. Do you have rosacea, and always thought you could not have a chemical peel? We have one for you! The right peel is perfect for oily/acneic skin, and is a great way to get active ingredients deep into the skin. Dr. Krever and our medical aestheticians will come up with the precise peel regimen for you.
Facials, Microdermabrasions and Chemical Peels can be done on the back and chest too!
Additional Aesthetic Services include:
- Eye & Lip Peel
- Dermaplaning: removal of peach fuzz
- Eyelash & Eyebrow tinting
- Waxing (all areas)
Microneedling is a procedure which involves creating many fine needle pricks in the surface of the skin. This therapy has been proven in multiple published medical studies to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms which are able to remodel and smooth the skin’s surface. This results in visual improvement of the appearance of fine lines and certain types of scarring. Compared to microneedling systems that are marketed for home use or administration by non-medical practitioners (needle rollers, etc), our electronic mechanized system is equipped with features that provide for the utmost in patient safety and treatment precision. Downtime is minimal and many patients start receiving compliments on their skin soon after their very first treatment although maximal results are seen after a series of sessions.
